I really like a love-shy guy?

I really like a guy and I know he likes me because he’s liked me for a couple years (a lot)and his friends have confirmed it.
But the problem is he’s "love-shy" and awkward. He’s turned me down asking to hang out, he only occasionally initiates contact (though he’s always extremely responsive when I do). I almost see him but when I do his friends do everything to help him out and make sure we get alone time and then we flirt and once kiss and stuff but never more.
I know he sounds pretty lame but he’s a great guy and one of the few people I actually have chemistry. I’ve dated other people since knowing him, but I just wish we could get a chance. But I feel like I’ve done all I can and I don’t want to look like a fool or outright pursue him. Should I move on or what?
You gonna have to move on him. Unless he gets the courage to ask you out.
hah i have the same problem… what i’ve been doing is keeping him in mind– i havent given up but im staying open to other options because this is my life and I dont want to waste it just because he’s too shy
